Located on a small development of three privately owned villas and here you can escape the pressures of modern life in a peaceful and tranquil location in the time-locked village of Uzumlu where life continues at a leisurely pace and little has changed for centuries. Discover the "real Turkey", enjoy the hospitality of the locals and experience the enchantment of rural life where you will hear nightingales singing, cowbells ringing and a donkey braying, while tortoises amble along the road .. yet only a short drive from the lively towns of Fethiye and Calis Beach - the best of both worlds.
Description of Villa & Features:
Furnished and equipped to a very high standard and we have endeavoured to provide everything you could possibly need while you are here.
For the gourmet chefs amongst you there is a fully equipped kitchen with oven/hob, microwave, dishwasher, plenty of crockery, pans and utensils. Washing machine, iron and ironing board are provided.
The spacious lounge and dining room comfortably seats eight people and is equipped with satellite TV, DVD, music system, books and games and a few DVDs with films and music. The lounge leads onto the terrace overlooking the pool.
Three bedrooms (one with en-suite) and all have balconies overlooking the beautiful surroundings. If required we can provide a cot and highchair at no extra charge.
The main bathroom with bath and shower is on the 1 st floor and a shower room on the ground floor
There are fans in the lounge/dining room and air conditioning in the bedrooms
The villa is situated in its own gardens with swimming pool, sun loungers and parasols, BBQ, terrace furniture and car parking.

Description of Resort:
Uzumlu boasts a Post Office, school, jandarma (police station) and a few shops for your daily needs. The heart of the village is the square with its tea house and the weekly Friday market where you can buy fresh produce. Pop into the newly opened wine bar in the village and try some of the local restaurants - you won't be disappointed.
The livelier resorts of Fethiye, Calis Beach and Hisaronu are only a short drive away where there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants catering for all tastes.
Why not try a boat trip from Fethiye? There are several to choose from - half day, full day or evening cruises and all are excellent value for money.
Turkey, of course, is full of history and there are many, many places to visit such as Cadianda, Tlos, Patara, Xanthos, Pinara, Letoon - all within easy reach of Uzumlu by car, or if you prefer our Management Agents can arrange a private tour.
One of our favourite places is Saklikent Gorge where you can enjoy typical Turkish cuisine and freshly caught fish sitting on a locanta over the fast flowing river. Take a walk through the gorge, it is beautiful. Spend a day here and you will take home some very happy memories of your holiday in Turkey. I you have the opportunity to stay for the evening you will have a lively time.
If you wish to explore further afield why not take a 2 day trip to Ephesus and Pamukale (the 8 th wonder of the world).
Additional Info:
When you arrive at Dalaman Airport you will be met and transferred to the villa by private transfer (no hanging around waiting for everyone to board a coach). When you arrive at the villa you will be shown how things work and what's what. Either on arrival, or early the next morning if you are on a late flight, Desree will give you information about the area, car hire, trips etc.
The villa will be cleaned prior to your arrival and a weekly maid service is provided if you are staying for more than one week.
The pool man will visit during your stay to maintain the pool but does try to come early morning so as not to disrupt you too much. However, it may not always be possible for him to come very early, so please allow him access as obviously it is important that the pool is maintained to a high standard for your own safety.
